The Scheme of Training under the Practicing  Mastercraftsman

The scope for promotion and development of handloom and handicraft sector still remains unlimited. And to  accelerate the growth of this sector of Village, Cottage and Artisan Industries, the Department sponsors local youths with stipend @Rs.350/-p.m. for training Inside the State and @ Rs.450/-p.m. for outside the State, under the practicing mastercrafts and the mastercraft is given an honorarium @ Rs.1000/- per month.
